On February 28th, 2020, Anthony J. Portantino held a community town hall to discuss benefits of SB 45 and its impact on the 25th Senate District.
SB 45 is commonly referred to as the Wildfire Prevention, Safe Drinking Water, Drought Preparation, and Flood Protection Bond Act of 2020. The event will include a diverse group of participants including government officials, environmental agencies, and activists to discuss the importance of the potential measure.
At this town hall, Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, Rivers and Mountains Conservancy, Upper LA River & Tributaries Working Group and the Sierra Club came out to join the conversation.
