Senator Portantino Honored by Biz Fed with Elected Official of the Year Award

Los Angeles, CA –Senator Anthony J. Portantino (D – Burbank) was honored with the Elected Office of the Year in Supervisor District 5 by the Los Angeles County Business Federation (BizFed) for his significant contribution in policy development and community engagement on behalf of the local economy. The Senator received the award during the organization’s Business Makes Los Angeles County Work” Awards at the Japanese American National Museum.

“I am honored to receive this award from BizFed and proud to support and advocate on behalf of our local economy, including small businesses throughout my district and LA County,” stated Senator Portantino. “Small businesses are critical to the vibrancy of local economies because they generate a significant economic activity and increase local job opportunities.”
