Senator Portantino, Congressman Schiff, Labor Secretary Su to Host Town Hall on Current State of Affairs and EDD Issues

La Cañada Flintridge, California – On Monday, October 19, 2020, at 7:00pm, State Senator Anthony Portantino, Congressman Adam Schiff, and Labor Secretary Julie Su will hold a virtual town hall to provide state and federal updates and answer constituent questions about coronavirus relief and recovery, the upcoming election, and more.

Topics of discussion will include a dialogue with Congressman Schiff on the latest on coronavirus relief negotiations in Congress, an update from Secretary Julie Su on meeting worker needs during this pandemic and improvements on the EDD process, and a Sacramento update from Senator Portantino. Questions will be addressed after the presentations, and moderated by former Burbank Mayor Marsha Ramos.
