Senator Portantino Holds Senior Scam Stopper Program at LCF Community Center

Glendale, California – Senator Anthony J. Portantino (D–La Cañada Flintridge) is hosting a Stop Senior Scam Acting Programs at La Cañada Flintridge Community Center on October 5th at noon. He is providing light refreshment for this free event which lasts about an hour.

Stop Senior Scams Acting Program℠ is a peer-to-peer education program that uses a theater production to educate older adults and the community about scams that target seniors. Members of the troupe age 65-100 write the skits based on their real life experiences.
