Senator Sasha Renée Pérez commemorates Read Across America Day!

Senator Sasha Renée Pérez commemorated Read Across America Day in the Senate by introducing SR 81. Working in partnership with the California Teachers Association (CTA) and the National Education Association (NEA), this resolution recognizes Read Across America Day and celebrates the joy and benefits of reading. Read Across America Day can be celebrated by picking up a new book or completing an unfinished one, and by encouraging everyone to experience the joy of reading!
