As a new legislative year begins, I remain focused on serving our communities with purpose, especially as we mark the one year since the devastating Eaton Fire that continues to impact our friends and families.
As we honor the life and legacy of Dr. King today, let us reflect on all the positive change community organizations have made in our region.

We have wrapped up the first year of the Legislature’s two-year Session. I am proud to share that nine of my 12 bills that reached Governor Newsom’s desk have been signed into law including our entire fire recovery and immigration packages.
