The legislative session in Sacramento has come to an end and we have scheduled some community events across the district that I invite you to attend. (Scroll Down for Events Listing!)
This community has already suffered greatly with the destruction of their physical temple and center during the Eaton Fire, and now someone has inflicted furthered pain.
“The Governor’s proposed 2026-2027 Budget is a sobering starting point for the Legislature to begin its work of crafting a balanced budget."
“Yesterday marked another deeply troubling moment in our federal government’s war on immigrants.”
“Every Eaton Fire survivor deserves to be made whole and must not face burdensome delays and unjust treatment."
On the one-year anniversary of the devastating Eaton Fire, we pause to remember the 19 members of our community who lost their lives - parents, children, friends, and neighbors. We continue to honor them and keep their families in our prayers.
Happy New Year! I am filled with hope and resolve.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Senator Sasha Renée Pérez joined affordable housing champions Wednesday in Altadena to announce $4 million in state budget investments to bring more Eaton Fire survivors home.
