Senator Sasha Renée Pérez issues statement on the decision by Speaker Emerita Pelosi to not seek reelection 

SACRAMENTO – Senator Sasha Renée Pérez (D-Pasadena) issued the following statement on the decision by Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi to not seek reelection:

“California and the nation are grateful for the decades of trailblazing service and leadership of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi. Her accomplishments, including being the first woman to serve as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives shattered glass ceilings and showed millions of women and girls an inspiring example of strength, courage and vision.
