April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SR 68), a time to highlight prevention, support survivors, and strengthen community awareness.
With so many brave survivors coming forward recently, I want to provide our community with current resources and support. I invite you to join me for a free, virtual meeting offering trauma‑informed information and available services.

This event is in partnership with VALOR, California's anti-sexual assault coalition that has provided survivor‑focused resources since 1980 and represents the 84 rape crisis programs across the state. Additional partners include:
- Partners Against Violence
- Center for the Pacific Asian Family
- East Los Angeles Women's Center
Please join me for this empowering discussion where survivors can learn about the support available to them. Together, we can strengthen our community and work to prevent sexual assault.
