For two days last week, the Leadership Pasadena Class of 2019 discussed city politics and challenges facing Pasadena directly with the area’s top leaders.
Seated in City Council Chambers for the first day, LP participants talked with Mayor Terry Tornek; City Manager Steve Mermell; City Attorney Michele Beal Bagneris, Councilmember Margaret McAustin; and State Senator Anthony Portantino about a wide range of topics from the structure of city government, issues facing the city, how commissions work and how to apply to serve on them and the life of a public servant!
