Senator Portantino Holds San Gabriel Valley HIV/AIDS Action Summit at City of Hope Hospital

Duarte, California – Senator Anthony J. Portantino (D–La Cañada Flintridge) will hold his 10th Annual San Gabriel Valley HIV/AIDS Action Summit to promote Public Health Policy Advocacy and better educate the public about HIV/AIDS three decades after the virus was first identified. The event will include world renowned HIV/AIDS experts, government officials, community groups and student participation in discussions regarding the present status and a vision for the future of the fight against HIV/AIDS. The event will be emceed by Emmy-award winning journalist Suzanne Marques. Ms. Marques covers lifestyle and entertainment for CBS2 and KCAL9.
