Senator Portantino Steps Out for Claremont Business Walk

Claremont, California – Yesterday, State Senator Anthony J. Portantino joined the Claremont Chamber of Commerce and the Feeling Groovy Wellness and Café to host a Business Walk in the Sprouts Shopping Center in Claremont. 

“What a great morning in Claremont.  The Chamber is doing a terrific work and I was happy to meet and share ideas with local small business owners”, commented Senator Portantino.

The Senator visited Sylvan Learning Center, The Claremont Community School of Music, Golden State Water Co., and Hot Yoga.  Immediately following the business walk he met with business owners and community leaders to hear concerns and learn how he can best support local small businesses in his district.

The Q&A session held at Felling Groovy Wellness and Café focused primarily on education, workforce development and small businesses issues.  The community and Senator Portantino had a productive discussion as he continues his strong support for local family-run businesses in the 25th Senate District.
