Marsha Ramos

Marsha Ramos has a lifelong interest in natural resource management and has integrated it into her business, volunteer and public service roles.

Marsha is the small business owner of Geosystems, an environmental, geotechnical and land consulting firm in Glendale. A long established firm that provides services to both public and private sector clients to assist them in achieving successful real estate and development projects.

 In 2001 Marsha was elected to serve as a member of the Burbank City Council and served through 2009, including 2 years as mayor. Her focus on the City Council was “Building a Healthy and Sustainable Community”.

 After retiring from the elected office, she has continued in the spirit of community service. She is the immediate past chair of the American Lung Association in California, and currently volunteers with Family Service Agency of Burbank, Family Promise of the Verdugo’s, Burbank Human Relations Council and the Burbank Art Association. She is the City of Burbank’s representative on Southern California Metropolitan Water District Board of Directors.

 She has been married to her husband Dave for 37 years, and is proud that both her adult sons have chosen careers in public service.
